Bill leads the expansion of LISC’s inclusive economic development efforts in its 33+ local programs by investing in people, places, and businesses. Bill has been with LISC since 2005, initially serving as LISC Indianapolis’ Executive Director, later as Program Vice President, and now as Senior Vice President for Economic Development. Under Bill’s leadership, LISC Indianapolis invested over $240 million to leverage $1 billion of investment in the core urban neighborhoods of Indianapolis. Prior to that, Bill was President of Southeast Neighborhood Development, Inc. (SEND) for 14 years, overseeing the early phases of revitalizing the Fountain Square area of Indianapolis. Bill holds an undergraduate degree from Cedarville University and a master’s from Ball State University’s College of Architecture and Planning.
The Jacksonville Urban Core Economic Development Forum third Community Conversation will be held on Thursday, February 20, at 3:00 p.m. You are invited to attend and hear creative approaches to economic development, employment & entrepreneurship from Jacksonville and around the country. Sponsored by LISC Jacksonville and 7 Urban Core organizations, the Community Conversations will engage community, business, philanthropic, and government representatives with leaders in the field in a discussion about practical strategies to stimulate economic development, job growth, and investment in our communities.
The Community Conversations will culminate in February with the Urban Core Economic Development Symposium, featuring catalytic projects and new initiatives underway in each Urban Core neighborhood.The third Community Conversation will be held in conjunction with LISC’s 20th Anniversary Celebration.

* The Jacksonville Urban Economic Development Forum is an 18-month initiative supported by LISC Jacksonville, The Community Foundation of Northeast Florida and Chase Bank. It's purpose is to stimulate economic growth in Jacksonville's center neighborhoods which comprise the Urban Core. The Forum is led by community-based organizations in Jacksonville’s Urban Core, and will showcase current and future catalytic economic development projects, highlight successful strategies from Jacksonville and elsewhere, and promote and implement inclusive economic development policies, projects, and investments.
